We have been involved in preserving the vision of Senior Citizens in rural Ambala, as they must need adequate heath care and medical treatment. It has organized 31 Eye Camps. Elders reached were 12,400 who were provided basic treatment and 3000 elders were operated for Cataract Removal. The operations were done in Association with Philadelphia Mission Hospital, Ambala City.
Elders are the ones who give us wise advice and make us what we are today. And caring for the vision of those people is an act of respect and care towards them.
Zila Yuva Vikas Sanghthan helped those elders who don’t have money to operate their eyes which was an act of care towards the elders of rural areas. Though they may be weak from body but their strength of experience can act as a lighthouse. Their role in any country’s rock solid foundation is inevitable.
